Mentorship Program
The Off-Broadway Alliance Mentorship program pairs theatrical Off-Broadway professionals with OBA members. This program was created for those seeking guidance and advice on a specific artistic/theatrical project. It is mandatory for the mentee to be working on a project during their mentorship. All pairings are handled through an application and interview process in order to match professionals with mentees in their specific theatrical field. As this program requires that all applicants have a specific project, mentors are able to offer practical guidance and direction regarding the mentee’s project.
The Mentorship Program initiative is slated to begin in September 2013. The mission of the OBA is dedicated to promoting and supporting Off-Broadway theater, encouraging and assisting new producers. The program follows the OBA mission statement as its tool in the planning for the future of Off-Broadway!
