When it comes to choosing a theatre there are a few factors to consider. Location, size, price, house package and house requirements should all be taken into consideration. What is great about New York and Off-Broadway is each theatre has its own unique charm and characteristics. Below is a list of commercial Off-Broadway venues. Once you identify a few which might be good for your production set up an appointment to view the space. Rental prices vary based on location and the times you want the theatre. If budget is a concern consider a split week rental with the theatre or an off hour rental. If the theatre is open to such a rental agreement you might be able to stage your production at a big savings.
