About Rehearsal Studios

As with theatres, when it comes to choosing a rehearsal studio there are a few factors to consider.  First, decide how much space you really need.  You might be able to start in a smaller space for a reading and then move to a larger space as you begin blocking your show. In general,  evening rentals cost more than day time rentals.  You might also consider figuring out the total number of rehearsal hours in advance and asking for a one price block rental.  Many Off Broadway theatres also have rehearsal studios.  If you’re booking the theatre for your performance try working in some rehearsal time as you’re negotiating.
